Your screen stays your screen.
EasyShot is built around local capture, editing and export. This page explains what stays on your machine and the few optional features that use a network.
Local by default
Screenshots, recordings, projects and history are stored on this machine. EasyShot has no account system and no EasyShot cloud. History keeps recent captures locally and can be configured.
When EasyShot uses the network
| Feature | When it runs | What leaves your machine |
|---|---|---|
| Capture, annotate, edit, export, OCR and QR | Default use | Nothing is sent to EasyShot. |
| Full-page web capture | You enter a public URL | A request to that page, similar to a browser. |
| Voiceover | You create a Microsoft Edge voice | The text you choose to turn into speech. |
| Stock media | You search or download from Pixabay | Your search terms and the API key you provide. |
What we don’t do
No ad tracking, no cross-site profiles, no selling personal data and no account requirement. This website does not load advertising pixels or session-recording scripts.
